The International Defence Exhibition IDEB, originally to be held on May 13th – 15th 2020 will be, in response to current measures related to spread of Covid-19, held from October 28th to 30th 2020.
Spread of the dangerous disease has a huge impact on everyday life and will have significant impact on all sectors of the economy. Incheba does its maximum to be able to eliminate these influences as much as possible and to respond flexibly to all challenges in the current dynamic times – one of them being the ban on organizing mass events with effect from March 10th.
After a mature consideration, evaluation of all circumstances, sober view on the development of the situation based on the spread of the disease, revaluating the benefits for our exhibitors and visitors – mainly in terms of frequency of the fair (every other year) and especially following a discussion and mutual agreement at the top-level with the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic, whose participation at the fair is significant from professional point of view, the alternative date of the fair was set to end of October 2020.
“We believe that our exhibitors will make full use of the alternative date to present their activities, products and services and strengthen their market position, and that participation at the fair will be a challenge for them to orientate themselves in the market. We will do our best to ensure that the benefits of fair participation can be used to their fullest.” Alexander Rozin, CEO of Incheba, Plc. stated.
The International Defence Exhibition IDEB is a platform that connects security and defence products with innovations and modern approaches in this area, including cybersecurity issues and new capabilities in the field of armed forces and security forces. The fair represents a unique opportunity not only for presentation but also for the establishment and strengthening of business contacts both on a domestic and international level and cooperation in investment projects within the V4 countries.
