The most important motoring event in Slovakia, Motor Show Bratislava, culminated in Incheba on Sunday. Insight into the attractive world of motor-cars was mediated to the visitors via 35 exhibiting brands and 132 exhibitors from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Poland, Italy and Slovakia on the total area of 40.000m2. The displayed exhibits included almost 60 Slovak premieres, some of which arrived to Bratislava right from the Geneva fair. High quality level of the Motor Show this year lured in the astonishing 185.323 visitors.
The Motor Show also included the 4th exhibition of luxury goods and services EXCLUSIVE SALON. Promenade in St. Tropez style, lots of expensive and fast cars, luxury jewellery, yachts and helicopter – all of this gave the event the hallmark of exclusiveness. Exclusive Salon brought also the most expensive car of the whole show – a Rolls Royce Wraith worth almost 350.000€.
The Motor Show has not only brought new cars, but veterans as well. Visitors could take a look at 9 exhibits from 5 generations of brand Ford Mustang. The very popular tuning season opening took place on the last day of the fair and showed tens of enhanced and tuned cars.
The atmosphere of grandiose motor show was highlighted by the accompanying programme. During test rides visitors could test various models of various brands. Risks in traffic were showed by crash tests, therollover simulator, impact simulator and simulator of impact of alcohol beverages on drivers. The littlest visitors could learn through games how to behave in traffic on the children’s traffic playground.
The awards for the most creative expositions were handed over during the Motor Show. This year four companies obtained the prize – Mercedes – Benz Slovakia, s.r.o., Peugeot Slovakia, s.r.o., Kia Motors Sales Slovakia, s.r.o. and Porsche Slovakia, s.r.o.
Motor Show Bratislava Awards were handed to the best cars in 10 categories. The Most Beautiful Car category was won by Jaguar F-Type R.
