Incheba will host chess players from 49 countries

At the beginning of August Incheba will host prestigious chess event – the European Youth Chess Championship 2019 that will take place from 1st to 11th August and invite around 2,500 visitors – of which 1,300 will be chess players from 49 European countries. The event will be held in 9 rounds and the opening ceremony will be on Friday, 2nd August at 14:00. Organizers claim a record-making attendance. This event took place in Slovakia only once before – in 1993. The European Youth Chess Championship 2019 in Incheba is organized by the NR Klub, a Slovak chess association on behalf of the European Chess Union.
