Tourist attractions, inspiration for travel experience, presentations of natural wonders, traditions, folklore as well as consultancy and tips for trouble-free travel to Bratislava is brought to you by the international fair of travel ITF SLOVAKIATOUR taking place in Incheba Bratislava from 23rd to 26th January. Visitors will be offered the best of the best not only by representation of both close and distant countries, regions and tourism organizations but also by travel agencies, delegates and tour operators – 345 exhibitors in total from 20 countries! The popular festival of travel films Camera Slovakia – Bubo Ball taking place at weekend will take visitors on a world-trip and thanks to co-running exhibitions of hunting and fishing visitors can explore the secrets of our forests, water and nature. The main partner of the travel fair is the Moravian-Silesian Region.
There is no place like home
All those who cherish their home country the most will surely enjoy the ITF Slovakiatour fair – during its four days long course, visitors can look forward to representation of the whole Slovakia through regions and tourism organizations as well as small towns. Natural wonders, presentations of both popular and less-known tourist destinations, accommodation possibilities, food or transport questions will prove Slovakia has lots to offer when it comes to tourism. To support the domestic tourism the Ministry of Transport and Construction SR organizes a discussion on holiday vouchers and conference called “2020 Tourism Support”.

The main partner of the travel fair comes from Czech Republic – the very Moravian-Silesian Region that wants to present tourist destinations enlisted in the so-called Technoroutes has also prepared folklore performance of the Valašský vojvoda group, science show from Dolné Vítkovice and lots of competitions and fun!
Hungary, Poland and Austria will share tips for a pleasant holiday near borders and such classic tourist destinations as Croatia and Italy will not be missing either; moreover, the fair will also feature countries as Slovenia and Montenegro that have become very popular and searched-for not only as places to spend your summer vacation at but as desired destinations as well.

Vacation in exotic destinations is becoming more and more popular each year. Especially during those freezing winter times the idea of spending our time on sunny beaches next to clear turquoise water sounds like a dream come true. The presentations of Dominican Republic, Indonesia or Cuba along with such delicacies as Madagascar or Mexico and Maldives will take all visitors to the sun-kissed countries. Everyone interested in vacation on a cruise ship can come and get some practical tips and great offers.

The weekend from 25th to 26th January will belong to the fantastic festival of travel films Camera Slovakia – Bubo Ball. Professional travellers together with those with traveling in their DNA will come and talk about their experience with traveling all over the world. Through engaging narratives, interesting films and photographs visitors can explore the atmosphere and character of Iran and Central Asia; Jordan, Palestine and Israel; Scandinavian capitals; Bhutan; the best of Africa; Vanilla Islands; India and Nepal; Iceland and many other destinations. Professional equipment is not needed to capture the beauty of your vacation – Jozef Orgonáš (@cestujemespolu) will talk about practical tips and tricks for an easy photoshoot.
The wonders of nature at the hunting and fishing exhibitions
Presentation of hunting traditions along with wide range of high quality hunting accessories and clothing, photo traps, binoculars, night vision and thermos vision and other equipment for hunters and nature lovers – this all is brought to Incheba by the co-running fair Hunting and leisure. Presentation of Slovak hunting dog breeds, samples of hunting traditions or habits and popular demonstrations of animal luring will take visitors into woods and hunting towers. Another co-running exhibition, Fishing and leisure time will bring clothes, accessories and equipment for fishermen as well as advice for high quality fishing. Hunting for predatory fish with artificial lures, bait fishing competitions, fly fishing and lecture on fish senses – this is just a part of the whole programme.

The ITF Slovakiatour fair and its accompanying events are open from 23rd to 26th January 2020, on Thursday and Friday from 9:00 till 18:00, on Saturday from 10:00 till 18:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 till 17:00.
