The second year of an international industrial fair of new technologies and innovation in mechanical engineering, electronics, energy sector, chemical and gas industry, biotechnologies and self-sufficiency in the area of energy and raw materials will be held from 20 to 22 February 2008.

The international fair INDUSTRY EXPO 2008 has become an excellent place for exhibitors from industrial and commercial sectors to present their new technologies and innovation. More than 104 exhibitors from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Turkey, Austria and Poland will have a chance to use the area of more than2500 m2 and present the latest trends and developments in the area of mechanical engineering, electronics, machine tools, chemistry and biotechnologies.

In addition to the latest technologies in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, energy sector and chemistry, a wide range of accompanying events, including interesting conferences, lectures and seminars is prepared for all visitors. The second year will bring several novelties as well as new projects. A conference entitled Education=Slovakia’s Future will be organised by the Trenčín University of A. Dubček in Trenčín. The 1st international final of technical competition of young electrical engineers and an international conference entitled Chémia (Chemistry) 2008 will take place. INDUSTRY EXPO is a meeting place of the current science, result of human knowledge and all those, who are interested to know how the modern technological future will look like.
