From 2nd to 3rd June Incheba Bratislava will host all lovers of numismatics, postcards collections, philately, phaleristics or minerals and small antiques. The popular Bratislava Collectors Days that take place annually will once again offer a plenty of unique objects and valuable artefacts for all keen collectors to enrich their collections with.
One of them will be a silver coin issued on the occasion of 300th anniversary of the birth of Maria Theresa. The National Treasury will thus honour the anniversary of her death via commemorative medal made of one ounce of pure silver. The limited edition of 1717 pieces will be a reminder of the year this famous empress was born. The uniqueness of the ounce silver medal is represented by symbolic date and limited number as well as its quality.
For the first time ever, this year the Bratislava Collectors Days in Incheba will present also the very Czech Post. On the occasion of its first ever participation, the Czech Post has also prepared a special correspondence tickets with thematic imprint of the Bratislava castle. The Slovak Post will not be missing this year either – together with the Post Museum an exhibition “Post and Postmen Though the Eyes of a Camera” has been prepared, offering visitors an unusual look at all the transformations of the post in the last 100 years. During both days the stand of Slovak Post will offer all visitors a chance to manufacture their own stamp with personalized coupon, buy a philately goods and use a special post stamp dedicated to the collectors fair. We have also prepared an interesting programme for children - the Children Post traditionally contains panel games with post themes, postal memory game, and possibility to create an image of postage stamp from magnetic puzzle pieces and to take a picture that will be a part of a big postage stamp.
The novelty of this year’s fair – the Pressburg Mint – Bratislava Mint – follows the 300 years old tradition and brings all collectors modern coins and medals not to be found anywhere else in the world. Combination of the newest technologies and innovative design creates not only an attractive investment opportunity but also unique art pieces with collector value.
At the collectors fair, visitors can also have themselves mint a coin with various motives, precisely a lucky coin, X Poltura replica or jetton as a sweet reminder of the Bratislava Collectors Days 2017.
We have traditionally prepared also the Minerals Section. Not only rough minerals and semi-precious stones, but also jewels made of them or pearls will surely catch attention of not only collectors but also of all ladies desiring new accessory. Interesting lectures will not be missing either, on topics like financial literacy and investments in conservative commodities. Auction of numismatic material will also take place, and professional consultancy in the collecting area will be present during the whole fair, as well as a chance to have your collections evaluated.
