From 14th to 16th February 2014 Incheba premises radiated with family atmosphere. The Child and Family fair took care of it, with its complex service for child care – from children products to professional advice on birth and upbringing. Pushchairs, diapers, pacifiers, baby bottles, car seats, clothes, shoes, toiletries, toys and books – all of this at one place offered by 70 exhibitors. The fair was attended by 12.884 visitors.
Parents, especially mothers and pregnant women, could meet the experts in gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatrics and psychology areas. During accompanying programmes they could learn how to give massage to babies to avoid stomach ache, watch samples of baby exercise, and get informed on right breastfeeding and on various natural ways how to eliminate the most common health complications. Aromatherapy for preggos, babies and mothers after childbearing, yoga for everyone and interactive reading for the littlest ones “Mommy, Daddy, Read with Us” – the selection of accompanying programmes pleased everyone.
We have not forgotten about children who had fun during modelling, painting and various games. Girls and boys could experience how it feels like to be a seller or car mechanic in the first city of professions in Slovakia My Town. For three days in Incheba there were built true premises of a shop and car service workshop where children could test in entertaining way each profession, being assisted by animators. Lego train simulating a real ride experienced a huge success amongst children.
A section for disabled children was a true novelty to this years´ fair. Parents could get informed on various kinds of rehabilitation aids and get acquainted with legislative opportunities of their acquirement.
