During the Bratislava Collectors Days the Postal Museum has prepared an exhibition called “Post and Postmen Though the Eyes of a Camera” which will offer visitors an unusual look at all the transformations of the post in the last 100 years. The collection fund of the Postal Museum contains more than 1,000 photographic images capturing buildings of post offices and post buildings, employees during work as well as in their free time and various events influencing the life and work of postmen. These fleeting moments, once captured by the click of the camera trigger that came to the light thanks to sensitivity of the photo paper are the heart of the whole exhibition.
During both days from 10:00am till 16:00/4pm the little visitors can visit the Children Post that traditionally contains panel games with post themes, postal memory game, possibility to create an image of postage stamp from magnetic puzzle pieces and to take a picture that will be a part of a big postage stamp. Children can also stamp by themselves philatelic materials bought at the event with a special Children Post stamp.
Both days the Slovak Post stand will offer:
- Creating a stamp with a personalized coupon,
- Sale of a philatelic goods,
- Occasional postage stamp dedicated to the BCD
