The 2015 exhibition calendar will be started by duo of attractive and popular fairs of tourism and gastronomy ITF Slovakiatour and Danubius Gastro. Preparations are in full swing and it is already crystal clear that there will be lots of to look forward to!
The international fair of travel ITF Slovakiatour is here for all wanderers from 29th January to 1st February 2015, offering a complex service for exploring Slovakia and foreign countries. Visitors will get a unique chance to compare various offers of travel agencies and choose their summer vacation for great price. Where to get the best accommodation, find the best food and which monuments and attractions to check – all these question will be answered by professionals in stands of Slovak and foreign regions.
You can also look forward to a great stand of Moravian-Silesian Region, coming back once again as the main partner of the fair following the huge success it experienced last year. The Moravian-Silesian Region stand will redouble in size comparing to the 2014. Visitors will have access to lots of promotional products including maps and tourist guides. Lovers of regional specialties will also enjoy themselves – you can look forward to tasting of beer, Marlenka or the so called Štramberk Ears. Sports fans will be delighted by hockey program that will last during the whole course of the fair. Visit of this stand as well as the whole event is a thing never to regret!
For the first time in history, the Danubius Gastro fair will be attended by a chain store known to every common consumer. Kaufland will promote the company through interesting and creative presentation, concentrated around the selection of goods offered. Coffee lovers and wine enthusiasts will also find their place at the fair – just like the last one, this year will also have a strong representation of winemakers, coffee vendors and exhibitors with goods from all over the world. Novelties from the area of gastronomy and kitchen and restaurant equipment will not be missing either.
Naturally, we could not have omitted the popular competitions where both professionals and students will compete.
The 16th exhibition of food and confectionery Poetry in Gastronomy will once again represent the true eye candy for professionals and wide public. Cooks will compete in cooking in various categories. Bakers will traditionally get involved in the prestigious competition for the Best Bratislava Roll. New competitions will emerge as well – for the best work of art on “Valentine” and “Mother’s Day” themes, competition for the best work of art on “Bratislava Castle” theme and the best innovative product of 2015. The best baristas will compete in the Slovak barista championship BARISTA 2015.
The METRO Cash & Carry Ltd stand will witness the III. METRO HoReCa Pentathlon, the junior competition of students from vocational schools and hotel academies in individual skills and team preparation of menu.
